Dr. Lints received his Master of Science and Certificate in Orthodontics, as well as his Doctor of Dental Surgery, from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. In practice, his goal is to provide excellent orthodontic care through the principles of health, function, and aesthetics. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Lints discusses treatment options with the parent and patient by using the most up-to-date technology. His practice utilizes 3D Dental CT imaging, self-ligating braces, Invisalign treatment, and educational software programs. Dr. Lints enjoys collaborating with other oral health specialists, general dentists, and medical professionals when treating patients with dental implants, jaw joint pain or dysfunction, full mouth reconstruction, surgical approaches, and third molar removal. Dr. Lints believes continuing education is crucial to improving treatment outcomes and working relationships with dentists and healthcare professionals.
His wife, Mary, and four sons remain the focus in his life outside of his orthodontic practice. In his spare time, Dr. Lints enjoys spending time with family, traveling, farming, hunting in Northern Michigan, fishing local inland lakes and Lake Michigan, and watching Big Ten sports. As a northern Michigan native, Dr. Lints regularly supports public and private education, and extracurricular activities.
