Dr. Bellohusen is a board certified orthodontist. He attended the University of Pittsburgh where he completed his undergraduate work. He has also achieved his masters in organic chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh. He then went on to the Eastman Dental Center at the University of Rochester, School of Medicine and Dentistry, achieving his certificate in orthodontics.
Dr. Bellohusen is a Clinical Professor at the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Rochester, School of Medicine and Dentistry. He enjoys interacting in an academic environment and sharing his knowledge and experiences with the residents in training.
He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. He is a member of the prestigious Edward H. Angel Society a Fellow of the International College of Dentists,Researcher, in bone biology and craniofacial growth and development of tooth movement and growth modification.
Dr Bellohusen is married to his wife Gail and have two children, Mike, who has a career in software design and development and a daughter, Beth who is a veterinarian and active with the Guiding Eyes for the Blind Association. Hobbies include sailing and Catamaran racing. Dr Bellohusen is a supporter of several children’s programs in local schools and throughout the community. He is also a supporter and is involved in community music and the arts.
