Dr. Coican takes pride in his family. His father served in WWII, the Korean and Vietnam Wars, as well as during the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Russian Invasion of Czechoslovakia. His mother was a medical technologist and taught high school. Dr. Coican is proud to be an “army brat” and has lived both on bases throughout the U.S. and Germany.
