I truly enjoy being an orthodontist; every day is a different challenge and every person has a unique personality that must be motivated to get the best final result. Over the past 37 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with so many amazing people, both patients and team members. Each person has had a profound effect on the kind of person I have become, both in and outside the office. Orthodontic treatment can be a long journey, but the smiles are always worth it in the end.
I spent my entire formal education at the University of Southern California, first for my undergraduate degree, and continuing on for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery and my orthodontic specialty. In the over three decades since then, orthodontic technology has changed dramatically. I am committed to continuing education to keep up to date with all the newest and most effective techniques and treatment options.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, I am required to go above and beyond in my quest for knowledge and technological advancement. Additionally, I am a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Western Dental Society, USC Alumni Club, and the California Dental Society.
I am a native of Southern California, having been born and raised in the South Bay my entire life. I currently reside in Manhattan Beach, and have for the past 25 years. My wife, Sydney, and I have three children, Katelynn, Greg, and Chris, plus Noel, our wonderful chocolate Lab.
My leisure activities include anything to do with the outdoors: fishing, boating, swimming, and watching and coaching baseball. I spent many years as a Little League coach working with the youth in our community, and also run a white sea bass grow-out facility which releases small WSB into the ocean. I love my community and enjoy being active in it.
