My father, my uncles, and my grandfather are all in the dental field, so dentistry has been a part of my life from the beginning. But ultimately, a dental mission trip with my father to Africa completely confirmed where I wanted to go in life. I saw the joy our profession can bring to others and I was sold…I love what I do and love helping people! Few things are more fulfilling than helping someone achieve the smile they always wanted, and I am truly thankful to be a part of this field that allows us to do just that.
I attended Birmingham-Southern College for my undergraduate work, then went to dental school at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. I did my residency and specialty training in orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and I am a graduate of the Roth-Williams Advanced Education in Orthodontics Institute, the Lawrence F. Andrews Foundation “Six Elements of Orthodontic Philosophy” course, and the Tweed Study Course.
I love to learn and make a positive impact in others’ lives, and continuing education helps me to make that possible. I enjoy my profession and want to be the absolute best orthodontist I can possibly be, challenging myself while learning about the latest proven techniques and technologies in my field.
