Dr. Jung is passionate about many things, but nothing outweighs giving her patients the most incredible smile possible. Not only does she love providing the Warwick and Port Jervis communities with high-quality orthodontic care, but she also prides herself on the personal connections she has made with her patients and their families. Dr. Jung focuses on changing people’s lives by improving their smile, confidence, and overall oral health.
Dr. Jung earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Columbia University, College of Dental Medicine in 1997. There, she received an award of excellence from Omicron Upsilon Key (an honorary dental society), the Divisional Excellence Award in operative dentistry, and the Award of Excellence from the Northeastern Society of Periodontics. She then completed her General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York where she provided general dental care to medically compromised, geriatric, and special needs patients. Dr. Jung completed her orthodontic specialty training at New York University.
In addition to practicing orthodontics, Dr. Jung is also an accomplished musician. She has had intense piano and cello training since childhood, which prepared her for the rigor as well as artistry in orthodontics. She graduated from the High School of Music and Arts in NYC, the backdrop of the 1980’s movie and sitcom, “FAME.” She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in musicology from New York University.
Dr. Jung’s hobbies include playing the piano and cello, gardening, reading, and taking walks with her dog Lulu.
