I enjoy making a difference in people’s lives, one person at a time. As an orthodontist, I help them make a positive change not just in their oral health and appearance, but also in their self-esteem and confidence. In that way, I’m not just treating their teeth: it’s more personal than that. What I do is help individuals feel better about themselves.
My focus is always to nurture a real relationship with every person I care for. I strive to get to know them, and to understand their wants and desires, because I know that the appropriate treatment approach is essential and achieving that starts with conversation, understanding, and natural rapport. From there, I can deliver the most focused, individualized, right treatment plan for each person.
Every year, new advances are being made in orthodontics — advances that will deliver healthier, more attractive smiles for my patients. They also make the treatment process more comfortable, and more efficient in terms of time. Each year I actively pursue continuing education offerings at the local, regional, and national levels in order to stay abreast of the latest developments, so I can deliver the strongest care options to my patients. I also author and present orthodontic research papers at national and local meetings, and am Invisalign® trained and certified.
In addition to supporting and sponsoring many local sports teams, school teams, clubs, and organizations through the practice, I am an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and at our local homeless shelter.
