Dr. Meng graduated from the highly acclaimed University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, one of three Ivy League dental schools. He completed his dental training ranking #1 in a class of 105 dental students. He continued his Orthodontic training at Ohio State University, one of the most advanced Orthodontic training center in the world. He is also the proud recipient of the American Association of Orthodontics Award for excellence in the orthodontic field.
During his tenure at OSU, he also studied sports mouthguards. His mentors were Dr. Deborah Mendel who is the team dentist for The Ohio State Buckeyes and Dr. William Brantley who is a world renowned dental material guru. Dr. Meng’s research was published on Dental Materials which is the most influential peer reviewed scientific journal in this field.
Dr. Meng studied Human Physiology and received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Florida, College of Medicine. He published many research articles in internationally recognized journals and presented his research at numerous international meetings.
Dr. Meng joined Dr. Richard Sparks' well respected practice in 2008. Since Dr. Sparks' retirement in 2011, Dr. Meng has continued his legacy of one of the longest standing orthodontic practices in the Valley, serving both North Phoenix and Glendale for over 41 years.
