I love the cosmetic and aesthetic aspects of being an orthodontist. It is very fulfilling to know that I make a difference in my patients' lives. It is a tremendous feeling to know that I can have a positive effect on a person's health and happiness. I appreciate the fact that I work with people who care about themselves and want to improve themselves.
Every stage of my education took place at Louisiana State University. I began by achieving my Bachelor of Science in Microbiology in 1987, then went on to earn my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1991. I finished with my certificate of completion in my Orthodontic specialty in 1993.
I am a member in good standing of the American Association of Orthodontists as well as the Southern Association of Orthodontists. Through these and other organizations, I am involved in furthering my education in orthodontics throughout the year. The courses and conferences I attend allow me to keep up with an ever-changing field of health care and provide the best, most modern experience for my patients.
Everybody at my orthodontic offices in Gastonia and Mooresville, NC is cross-trained so they can understand their various roles and work well together. They love their jobs and enjoy sharing the office with one another. We know that our patients prefer to feel like they aren't just at an orthodontist's office, but a comfortable and inviting place. That is why we strive to be friendly and caring every day. People appreciate this more personal approach to dental care and compliment us frequently on our excellent service.
