As an orthodontist, I love working with people, both my patients and staff. I love seeing patients’ smiles transform and their confidence skyrocket when they go through orthodontic treatment. I know that whatever I do will improve their outlook on life and their future.
I grew up in Columbus, Ohio, but, Rochester is my home as my family and I have been living in Rochester for nearly thirty years. I obtained my BS degree in microbiology and my Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University, so I’m a Buckeye through and through! I had decided to look into dentistry as a career because I worked with a dentist on a research project regarding Sjögren’s syndrome prior to dental school.
After dental school, I attended Eastman Institute For Oral Health at the University of Rochester for my certificate in orthodontics and the University of Rochester School of Medicine for my Ph.D. in anatomy. I continue to learn by attending local, regional, and national meetings of the American Association of Orthodontics, Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, New York State Society of Orthodontists, and American Dental Association.
