Dr. Aimar was raised in the East Bay town of Moraga. After graduating from U. C. Berkeley in 1981 and the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1985 he joined the United States Navy Dental Corps where he earned the Navy Achievement Medal while heading the Department of Endodontics in Long Beach, CA. Dr. Aimar received his specialty certification in Endodontics in 1991 after a two-year residency at the VA Hospital in Long Beach, CA, and has been practicing endodontics in Walnut Creek ever since.
Dr. Aimar has spoken at the California Dental Association convention in Anaheim, published a study in the American Association of Endodontists, taught at the University of the Pacific School of dentistry. Dr. Aimar also co-founded the American College of Endodontists in 2000. In addition Dr. Aimar is an active member of local, state, and national dental and endodontic organizations.
Dr. Aimar is married to his wife Theresa and they have three sons. He enjoys snow skiing, swimming and running.
